"Ford Lehman motors need only standard examinations as every Ford diesel motor needs. They have hardly mechanical problems.

Problems can occur, however, with replacements, because Ford Lehman is not always Ford Lehman. One should know absolutely where the motor was manufactured, if in USA, in England, in Hong Kong, in Singapore or where else. Only then the sizes co-ordinate, only then the parts co-ordinate, and Ford USA can often not supply the parts that Ford Australia had installed."
