On the Internet it is strongly advised to be very careful when booking a Condor flight and, above all, paying for that flight. You only have to enter the search terms "Condor" and "Fraud" on Google. Then you will know what kind of company Condor really is.

Condor has a very bad reputation for years

-

very many delays,

-

extremely bad service,

-

very often canceled flights and after

-

Refusal to refund tickets after cancellations.

Getting money back from Condor is almost impossible. Without a lawyer and lawsuit, Condor pays nothing. But even then it always takes many months while worry that Condor will be bankrupt beforehand. The Condor ranking has been in free fall since 2019: more than 80% violent complaints. Scattered positive reviews on the Internet seem to have been bought: Fakes. Since early 2020 there has even been suspicion of serial fraud: empty bookings for flights that do not exist. Condor still offers them on its website, cashes and does not pay back. It has a method. Condor seems to be using the bankruptcy of its former mother company Thomas Cook and the Corona crisis to cash in quickly before Condor itself is bankrupt. Condor currently doesn't care what customers think about Condor.

We have received a criminal complaint against Condor, which proves that Condor

-

canceled paid flights without notice to the customers,

-

then offers significantly more expensive alternative flights,

-

although Condor knows that these flights don't even exist,

-

flights that Condor only lists as decoys on their websites,

-

for which Condor recalculates and debits again,

-

although Condor agreed to rebook flights canceled from Condor,

-

Condor then refused repayment with excuses,

-

to illegally provide Condor with liquidity.

We also have Condor booking confirmations for flights from stranded Condor customers Frankfurt - Grenada and back, which have been debited from credit cards, rebooked, moved in, but never took place and were never reimbursed, e.g.
Cancellation Condor   Condor bookings (rebookings)
Canceled - Condor return flight on April 9, 2020
Canceled again -

Condor return flight on May 29, 2020.

Rebooked flight according to Condor information.

Was not rebooked despite the promise of the hotline, but completely recalculated and debited, which was also several hundred Euros too high

Canceled again - Condor rebooking return flight on July 3rd, 2020
Canceled by customer -

Rebooking return flight offered on October 30, 2020

Rejected by customer, criminal complaint filed with the public prosecutor's office in Darmstadt / Germany.

These are not isolated cases. That seems to be the actual Condor system. Everywhere and always the same lousy tricks. The internet is full of it, e.g.

https://de.trustpilot.com/review/www.condor.com.

This has apparently been the current Condor business model since the Thomas Cook bankruptcy and Corona 2020. Cash out quickly, employ a new management from South America and then disappear. Incredible that such a company gets public money.
